AIK was one of 20 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Nyköping Invitational 2019. They participated with three teams in Boys 12, Girls 12 and Girls 13 respectively. The team in Girls 13 made it to the the 3-4 in Slutspel A, but lost it against IFK Lidingö by 0-1.
In addition to this, AIK have participated in Nyköping Invitational before. During Nyköping Invitational 2018, AIK had two teams playing in Boys 12 and Girls 12 respectively. Two teams played until in Slutspel A; Boys 12 won over Vålerenga Fotball by 2-1 and Girls 12 won over Sollentuna FK by 2-1. AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 88 km from Nyköping, where Nyköping Invitational takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Nyköping Invitational 2019 (Among others: Nacka FC, Hammarby IF, IF BP, IFK Lidingö, Huddinge IF, Syrianska fc, Täby FK, Sollentuna FK, IFK Tumba and Mälarhöjdens IK). 15 games playedGoals |
